Libraries and uploads

I downloaded several assets and really like the direction of Project Falcon. One feature that would greatly improve workflow would be the ability to create custom libraries or “Favorites” collections for commonly used assets during the kitbashing process.

As the asset library grows, a more structured categorization system would also become important. Currently, many assets appear mechanically oriented, but there are also anatomical components such as arms, legs, and torsos. Expanding categories into areas such as mechanical, organic, botanical, architectural/interior, hard-surface, and character components would make asset discovery and scene assembly much more efficient.

UV-ready assets would also add significant value, although UV workflows can still be completed externally in applications like Autodesk Maya. It could be interesting to allow users to re-upload optimized versions of assets with cleaned topology, UVs, or additional refinements, potentially supported by a community rating or validation system.

A community-driven contribution pipeline for user-generated asset uploads—organized by category and quality rating—could help the platform evolve into a much larger collaborative ecosystem for concept development and rapid prototyping.

Hi ray,

thanks for that suggestion and we have something similar up already where you can cast a a vote on this idea here  and maybe add additional ideas if you like.

The UV ready assets would be great, one thing we need to solve is how this behaves after doing cutting and combining (booleans) on the parts.

Cheers,

Björn
