What happens to older versions for Education

At Melbourne Polytechnic in Higher Education, we assess the students with open book computer based design examinations. If my educational access expires before the end of semester, how can I send students sample solutions and exam startup files? If I move to the 2022 Versions, our cohort of students will not be able to open the files because they will not be backward compatible as they will be using Revit 2021. Unless my older installations of versions 2021, 2020 or 2019 can still run after upgrading to version 2022. Could a support expert please reply to this post?

I attach the install confirmation email from the Autodesk information folks.

You don't need an expert. All you need is an internet connection and a search engine for these questions. I'm actually surprised that, as an educator, you are asking such questions before researching them.

Why are you letting your license expire?!

They aren't even out yet.

AutoCAD is backwards compatible. There shouldn't be any reason to stay on the older version. Why would you want them to? The license is free.

Unless it's different from the standard license, you should still be able to run the last five versions but why would you want to? Shouldn't you be teaching the latest version?

You don't need a support expert. Plus, this is a user help forum. Users helping users. One of the best resources for solving issues and learning about AutoCAD there is but Autodesk employees don't participate much. Their mostly here in an administrative role but they do occasionally help out.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
