I had an older computer and recently purchased a new one. I have a permanent license for AutoCADLT 2015. I installed it onto my new system and 2 issues have arisen.
The first being whenever I open a DWG file I get a message saying that I have proxy graphics that were created by an unavailable ObjectARX application. I am confused as I do not use any other applications for CAD drawings. I have attempted to find the AutoCAD Object Enabler, however, I have not been able to locate the files and every link that I was sent by virtual agent was no longer working.
My system is fully updated, with all drivers up to date.
The second issue I am having is that AutoCAD will have a fatal error and close if I attempt to open second DWG file. I know I am using an older version, however if I could please get help with these issues it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

if you're running this old 2015 version of LT or full AutoCAD on Windows 11, that would definitely be the cause of the error.
You can ignore the first error if it doesn't remove anything from the drawing. Disable the proxy error in your settings if you want, set the variable PROXYNOTICE to 0.
Maybe try enabling compatability mode if it's an issue with win11?

Much like your previous installation of LT2015 on the old machine, you need to ensure PROXYSHOW and PROXYGRAPHICS variables are turned on, and PROXYNOTICE variable probably needs to be turned off. Look up all three in your LT2015 HELP in the program.

Good, so we'll all stop pretending that combo is going to ever work flawlessly for you.

Thank you very much I will look into these steps. I realize the version is old, however it is the one my employer provides and there is not much I can do about that unfortunately.
Time to inform your employer that for you to be productive you'll need a current version of the software. There's no reason to run software especially old and no longer supported software that causes your most current computer to crash and I'm sure you don't want to downgrade to an older Windows Operating System.
So just present to your employer with the monthly subscription cost of the latest 2025 LT which is only $65/month:
