AutoCAD 2013 serial number and product key

Good Day,

I am about to install AutoCAD 2013 x64 that came with my AutoDesk Product Design Suite Ultimate. I noticed that it is has its pwn installer, but is it part of the Suite?

Would I use the same serial number and the suite product key or same serial number and the AutoCAD product key for 2013?

I just tried researching your email address and name in our student database but was unable to locate you as having an active account. Have you registered directly with the Education Community? I have searched the database, but I couldn't find any AutoCAD 2013 license associated with your e-mail address. Did you download the Student version on Education Community? Or did you purchase the Commercial version online or through a reseller?

Hi guys, 

I bought my AutoCad license last January 2013 and worked perfectly since then. My computer used to run on Windows 8 and two days ago it asked for updating to 8.1. I did it (i wish i wouln't) and now my Autocad says that my serial number is not a valid number. What can i do??? since this is my main work tool, i have a huge problem here....

I tried researching your email address in our system to try and find your serial number but found zero results. To have your serial number verified please contact our Activation and Registration team:

1.    Visit http://knowledge.autodesk.com/contactus
2.    Select “Activation & Registration” or “License Management”
3.    Select appropriate subtopics from the pull-down menus.
4.    Select “I Still Need Help”  if you need personal assistance.

My old comouter crashed and I purchased a new one. I can not find the serial no. I have the product key but not the serial no. How do I go about finding

Hi Frank,

Did you purchase it  from our Online Store? If so, an email containing the Serial # and other Order information was sent to the email address registered upon purchase. Let me know if you have not received this email.

You can reply back with the Order # so I can doube check on my end. 

If purchased from a reseller, you can contact them and ask for the Serial #.
