You're not alone. You're not going to get one either. Have a look around this forum for similar posts.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Thanks for the response Rob. Luckily I still have my drafting kit from the 80s.

Don't even need a computer for that.

Student Licenses are for students attending approved institutions all over the world: are you trying to cheat by using it commercially or are you a real student and to get free software you only need to go here and apply https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/account-management/autodesk-for-education/students-a...

Whoa there mule!! I am just trying to reactivate the program I paid for that came with a perpetual license. Not stealing, cheating, or using commercially. AutoCAD sold student versions in the past with perpetual license and water marks so they could not be used commercially. I am just a DIY that likes to use my AutoCAD for home projects.

You're still out of luck. You won't be able to get an activation code.

That's still illegal use of an EDU license, refresh your memory about it all here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/account-management/autodesk-for-education/students-a...

BTW as of August of the year 2019 all 2010 and older software are no longer being Authorized by Autodesk: their change, their software, their rules, you no longer get a choice about it. Sorry.

Now you know!

There are other options if you like CAD. Autodesk's subscription plan and the new "token" system have made the cost within reach of the occasional user. There are also less expensive alternatives. Not sure if there are any free ones left but there are a lot of trial periods to be had for "testing".

Thanks RobDraw

I will keep that in mind. Now I hope Ford doesn’t decide to stop supporting my F250. It’s a 2002 model.

Sorry but Ford has stopped supporting many vehicles. It's only a matter of time but the F Series has a good history and tons of aftermarket support.
