Problems when AutoCAD LT 2008 was stopped

I have a legal AutoCAD LT 2008 and run it on Windows 10 without any problems, until resently, when it was stopped by you.

I do not understand how you can stop this program, when it is legally bought.

I am retired and just use this program in 2D a couple of time per year for personal use. Now, I can not open the program any more and all my old drawings are unusable.

I really hope you understand that you have given me a lot of problems. I can not affort to buy a new version as I only use it very seldom.

I hope you can open it again for me.

Many thanks in advance.

You have two problems: Win10 is not a supported OS and it breaks older AutoCAD licenses (no matter how wonderfully it has worked up until now, that means nothing to Microsoft or Autodesk).

Second and bigger problem: autodesk stopped/killed/ disabled older versions like yours for activation after August 31 2019. And there is nothing you can do about it today.

If you still have your old PC with Win7 or WinXP and it still works you can go back to it and use it.
Or whip out a credit card and buy either a subscription to new LT2020 or a CAD software from another vendor.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
