UMC 5-axis posting taps wrong

I've been told by our machinist that our UMC is posting out demicals wrong. The Feeds and Speeds for our taps we usually do 1000 x metric pitch for cutting rate. Eg. for a 3/8-16 tap we do 1587.5 cutting rate. Whenever the NC program is written out of Powermill 2018 / 2019, the UMC post reads 1.5875 for the cutting rate. Is there a quick fix for this?

Is that Item Properties located in Powermill or on the console of the machine? I'm new to all of this.

It's found by using your post and postprocessor software. If you have never attempted this you could upload your post on here or email it to me and I can change it for you

I'm a little lost, so to fully understand, so we post our NC Programs from Powermill to the UMC. Would this software be powermill ?

No, its a program called Autodesk Manufacturing Post Processor Utility 2019. That is where you make changes to your post

Watch this video, and either change the imperial or metric parameter

Okay, I followed the video and now I'm uncertain if that is what is causing tap feed rates to move from 1275 to 1.275. Attached is our post that we use for the UMC.

Is it just in rigid tapping you have this problem? It looks to display the feedrate as expected. For just regular tapping you have the feedrate set to never output to tape. Is it ok for deep drilling? Can you upload your project that is giving the bad result as well?

I was told it was for the Tapping not Rigid Tapping. It seems to have this issue on any project, not a certain one. So my guessing is, it might be that Tapping has never on the output?

Do you maybe have a leadin % factor set to something less that 100% in your feeds and speeds?

Our Lead in in 100%. I'm going to try Refael's fix. Will post if it helps.

What all did you change on the post program? So, if this happens again I can fix it.

To find out what has changed, use PostComparer:

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Manufacturing Post Processor Utility 2018\PostComparer.exe
