PM2027 Model Patch Selection Issue

Hello @evo80. I'm sorry you're having issues with PowerMill 2027. Can you please confirm that PowerMill 2026 and PowerMill 2027 are running on the same PC? Are you willing to share a model that shows the problem please?

Yes, both PM2026 and PM2027 are running on the same PC.

The zip file contains a model from the PM2027 examples folder, it's not one particular model but every model I've tested.

I updated the nvidia graphics card drivers and the same thing with selecting patches in PM2027.

To rule out it's a mouse problem, can you try a co-workers mouse?

So I installed PM2027 on another PC (PC2) and low and behold no issues with patch selection! I checked the graphic card settings and both PCs have identical settings yet the first PC (PC1) is still misbehaving, any ideas why? And I swapped the mouse from PC2 to PC1 with no change.

Is PC1 a Windows Insider Program of Windows at all?

It sounds like there is a setting turned on PC1 that the new version of Powermill doesn't like

I was part of it and I noticed I had an issue with a macro that worked and then a Windows update broke. Also my backup software got messed up. When I finally left the pgm the backup worked again.

Look for Powermill 2027 not Autodesk Powermill 2027

Wow, you'd think Autodesk would keep the naming convention the same as previous releases wouldn't you, anyhow thanks I found it!

Hmmm, did a clean install with the same issue. Maybe I'll just stick with PM2026, it's not like Autodesk are making anymore major enhancements to this software.
