Good Day,

Does anyone know why my holes are not colouring the same as the model colour, in fact when I edit the colour in the feature set properties the colour edit fails also.Screenshot (727).png

That's interesting. There is a very recent topic where someone was unable to edit the color of a featureset with that command

edit featureset ; colour 1 1 1

Which normally should work. Both the command and the automatic color detection work completely fine on my end.

Maybe it's some kind of hardware issue or a graphics driver setting? Can you test it on another PC or upload the project?

What hardware do you use and wich version of PowerMill?

Ok, So use model colour for holes was unchecked, all is now fine.

However I have noticed something which seems to be unique to PM2027, when I click on a surface patch it fails to select, random patches select instead . This isn't the case with PM2026, anyone else noticing this with PM2027?

That's odd... i can't reproduce the error. I use the exact same PowerMill version. Latest Drivers installed. Ryzen 7 5800, RTX3070.

Do you get any error message? Or does just the color not apply to the featureset?

@icse , see my message 4, the "Use model colour for holes" checkbox was unchecked, when checked the hole featureset behaves correctly.

oh trough you had that checked😅

but anyway this command should have worked to change the color of the featureset regardless if the option is checked or not:

edit featureset ; colour 1 1 1

You're right, I just unchecked "Use model colour for holes" to check and now the holes colour correctly when I edit the colour, that is proper weird because it failed before or maybe I'm going mad! 🤔
