45 degree reverse chamfer on radial surface

Hi,

Has anyone ever had to machine a reverse chamfer in a hole to a radial surface, looking for suggestions?

I have attempted chamfer milling which produces a flat cycle, i.e. not following pattern ellipse.

I have tried pattern finishing which follows the ellipse but  i cannot seem to offset radially.

Regards Kevin

I'm doing a similar job at the moment but rather than a tool as you've describe I'm using a dovetail cutter,

the reverse axis works for this tool but may not for a vee type tool.
