Is there a way to turn this 3DSOLID (only the epidermis) into a full 3DSOLID，Similar to the extrude region, the generated 3DSOLID。

The 3DSOLID in the drawing has some issues. The faces seem to be inverted an the faces at both ends are missing.

I managed to create a new 3DSOLID from it like this:

1. _EXPLODE the solid into faces.
2. Create regions at the two ends of the solid
3. Create a new 3DSOLID from the faces with the _SURFSCULPT command
