viso data to acad

hello,

i have a question to exchange of information between MS visio and ACAD.
In visio it's possible to save information as textstring on an drawobject, for example: a line (data 1, 2 or 3 with max 64 KB).
My question is, if the information preserve in the DWG-file and how i can find this data in acad or with objectarx?

i hope you can help me.

I don't know exactly what you mean but maybe this will help.

You can use visio as a com server and have a arx program communicate with it.
Define custom entities with member vars in which you store the data or use xrecords and standard entities.
