Break the acedEntSel() - Command

Hello, In some cases I have to break an active acedEntSel()-Command. Now I use acDocManager->sendStringToExecute(ESC /char(27).... to the commandline to break the active selection. But is not there a "nicer" way ? best regards Herbert
