Can the autodesk viewer display files that I host locally?

https://aps.autodesk.com/en/docs/viewer/v7/developers_guide/overview/

I have a server app where users can upload their floorplans and I want to display them in the viewer.

Thanks

@tlabbeLE97E Are you wanting help navigating the SDK https://aps.autodesk.com/viewer-sdk

Do you have to sign up to their Developer Network first to gain access? They have their dedicated forums.

I don't believe that the viewer can be hosted locally. APS is an online solution. However, you can open the files in one of the free viewer apps.

You are correct that there is no dedicated forum for the online viewer.  The free viewers mentioned by @Ed__Jobe do have forums of their own if you decie to try one of those.  Good luck!

Hi @tlabbeLE97E , You can not host Autodesk Viewer locally because it's an online viewer which is hosted on Autodesk Servers. So everytime you try to view a CAD file it send an API request to the Autodesk server and then the file is processed online, so in short no you can not use the Autodesk Viewer locally.
But if you are a software develeper then there are plenty of libraries that lets you read and write DWG, DXF files, One library is AcadSharp written in C# you can try that. And for viewing DXF files there is a library in Javascript which you can search on NPM. Hope this resolve your query.

I'm working on viewing the converted svf file in web browser. Could you please share any documentation/library available to render the converted file in browser using js?
