I am really just getting a confirmation, than when I export a Revit 2012 file to NWM 2012, that it will not "hold" the GROUPS or ASSEMBLIES together when they come into NWM. I am creating a construction simulation for a 5-Story Hotel with panelized LGM Stud walls, and it is really a pain to have to 'manually' GROUP the individual Panels into Selection Sets for each panel. UNless there is something I missed in the Export Settings.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi,
This sounds like the opposite of what's happening on the other thread. Have you split the stud wall into it's seperate parts in Revit? Do you have Convert Construction Parts switched on in the Revit Export Options?
Lee, this is not working with 'parts'. I'm talking about Panels made of Studs.literally. See Attached.

Hi Mike,
I hope this blog post answered your question.

Thanks Lee for the link.THAT was my posting/question for Paul yesterday from/on your Beyond Design Blog.
Thanks, hopefully the programmers can do something with this.............very time consuming and laborious to make 600 Sel Sets, one at a time on this project..
