How to cut horizontal sections

Hi All,

Brand new to NW, so sorry if this is a basic question. I have a multi floor building model. How do I cut a horizontal section so I can see various heights of the building.

Only when you have Floors and Axes defined and exported from Revit, you have this functionality build in.

If not, you need to create Clip Boxes manually and save those as viewpoints

Hi @Anonymous,

if I were you I would do this in Revit, with the section box tools in 3D view or directly using sections.

If you want to use Navis you can use the section plane and use the alignment of a facade to create it!

Thanks, I created clip boxes and saved them as viewpoints to see the levels I wanted. I appreciate the help
