Hi,

 

Is it possible in NASTRAN to refine mesh for a local area only (something like it realize for example in Ansys, see attached picture ↓)? Thank you!

Hi Roman,

 

I think you wanted to post your question to the Nastran In-CAD forum. (The NASTRAN forum is for the stand-alone solver which has no capabilities to mesh a model, let alone create a refined mesh. Smiley Happy)

 

You can specify mesh controls in In-CAD to create finer meshes in desired locations. "Mesh > Mesh Control" is the name of the command on the ribbon.
