After version update to 2024, Moldflow stopped showing the cause/details of meshing errors.
Previous versions showed which face ID was having a surface defects.
Does anyone happen to know how we can solve this problem?
In this particular CAD, STL file can be meshed but native or step format does not get meshed.

Hi @aonotaka96
this is known issue also discussed in following thread:
AMI-2024 / Mesh log information when meshing process failed
(Autodesk asks for the model to be able to troubleshoot.)
So far no direct solution provided.
Would be good to get the information about CAD face in mesh log back.
Sometimes I have got this issue when using native CAD format.
A workaround that sometimes has resolved this issue is using STEP-format.
Seems as this sometimes can "heal" bad faces.
But see you tried STEP format with no success.
If you still have access to Moldflow 2023, you could mesh to get info about CAD face.

Berndt
Hi Berndt,
Thanks for the answer!
I guess we need to keep using 2023 for meshing trouble shooting ...
Not a big deal, I just want to see what's causing the issue.
thanks!
Taka
