Venting analysis: selection by node path

Current situation:

ejector pins, venting pins, slider gaps and cavity boarders provide the necessary venting at a common injection molding process.

Those venting techniques provide a small, often long gap where air can escape. To create such a gap it is necessary to select node by node within one venting group. Therefore long gaps need a lot of clicks to create a similar venting situation.

Proposal:

Add the option to select a line of nodes by path.

I agree with you.

The venting analysis in Moldflow takes a lot of time and since the last 6 MF versions there was no improvements on this (or longer).

It is time to "redesign" the creation of venting in moldflow.

possible solution:

May be select a edge on 3D geometry for venting, import cad lines and so on.....

There are many ways to improve.
