Actual it isn't possible to use a valve gate controller for a 3D valve gate hot runner, this function is only usable for a 3D open hot runner, so I mean, it is necessary and logical to use it for a a 3D valve gate hot runner too.
Certainly, we can help us with a beam element which is connected between the 3D part mesh and the 3D valve gate hot runner mesh, but it isn't realistic and not future-oriented and we need more realistic simulations...
