Multi Cavity simulation - Injection Pressure Issue.

Hello,

I have modelled a 3 plate multi cavity simulation and I am finding a strange occurence with the Injection Pressure.

As you can see all cavitys are filling with different pressures. I would have expected all cavities to be at roughly the same pressure?

BioQ spring shuttle injection pressure.pngThe flow is even throughout the fill.

I have also noticed this same problem after running a 2 cavity simulation.

Any information on this matter would be great.

Thanks,

David

Hi David,

You could try this tips:
- Review if all runners are equals: geometry, dimensions (looks that it's balanced, but just in case)
- Do you copied the cavities in Adviser? or do you import one and then add the other 3 separately?.Remember that Adviser generates the mesh at the beginning of the analysis, and depending on how do you import the cavities, the mesh could be the same in each cavity or different.
- And finally, review the fill time, add more frames in the animation, and recheck with the last frames, if all cavities are filled at the same time.

I hope this works

Hi

As explained by @Lorena.Rivas

this may be due to meshing issue...if you have added each cavity separately and meshed it, there will be a different pattern of mesh will be generated and this leads to possiblity of results as shown

Try to create cavity copies after meshing single part and runner.. refer the below link
