Won't Play image sequence in a image plane

I have the latest update to Maya running with all the updates on a Windows 10 machine. I can't get any .tif or .png image sequences to play on a image plane. The first frame loads and I can see it but the other frames won't show when I scrub the time line.

- Create a new camera in a new Maya project.

- Set the Frames Per Second to 29.97 which is what it was shot in.

- Select the camera and View>Image plane>Import Image select file that's called "Backyard.1000.tif"

- Check the "Use Image Sequence" box in the ImagePlaneShape1

- The first frame shows on the image plane

- Scrub the time line or click the "Play" button in the time line and the sequence doesn't play

I've attached the first few .tif files

Thanks,

Jeff

What could the problem be?

Change to 30FPS.... instead 29.97 Your file shows Backyard.1000.tif . I think the expression is looking into the starting frame to be 1000, not 0001. Try converting the image sequence to Backyard.0001.tif. Hope it will work.

Thanks so much for the numbering tip! That did the trick. I never would have figured that out 🙂

Even without numbering, You have FrameOffset field.
