Unable to disable UV shell in viewport

Hello, I was trying to use UV editor in MAYA 2020, but the window is not showing when clicked. Instead, my mesh is shown with UV shell colours in the viewport.

I can only find the UV editor window that when use "UV editing workspace",  is there a way to open it in the Classic view or disable the UV shell to show in my viewport? Thanks a lot!!

In M2019 colors go away as soon as I close uvEditor.

Besides, if you still need the uvEd to be kept open, you can switch to wirefame shading:

(hotkey 4 within the uvEd)

It possibly is somewhere off-screen, especially when minimized - happens all the time with my monitors |-- arrangement.

Try minimizing Maya, then restore. Also the Display>Workspaces>.. has a list of presets.. in my case it was Maya Classic, which restored the uvEd.
