Transparency map doesn't work

I`m realy new into maya, so if my question is pretty silly, I apologize in advance.
what I want to do is to get a half-transparent texture on the model with an nontransparent pattern on it.
i created new lambert material, add a texture file to it and transparent map.

so in hypershade, in the materials pallet it's looking fine, just as i wanted it to be

but in material viewer, viewport and after render my material doesn't have any transparency

so is there any solution to this? or i'm doing something wrong?

Hi!

You use  some nodes or a network connection that's supported for Software Rendering but not for Hardware Rendering.

Please upload the scene-file (you can assign the material to a simpler object if you don't want to share your model or keep Polygon count low).
