Renderman rotate individual UVs to avoid obvious tiling

I have been using this method in blender for a few years to rotate and dice up individual UV tiles for a tiled texture, like a terrain texture. If you don't want to watch the video, he has nodes that chop up and rotate a tiled texture like a mosaic pattern. I am looking for a way to do this in Maya with Renderman. I have a large desert terrain and I want to use a ground sand texture tiled on it without obvious tiling. Does anyone know how to do this?
