Exr file into Davinci Resolve?

Hi. I tried to export an Exr file because I used arnold denoiser (noice), and try in Davinci Resolve to see if I can edit like a png file.

The image has not the same result in Davinci. When I import the exr to davinci project, It shows so dark. I've never used exr files and export from maya and I don't know how I should do it.

The unique reason I want to use it is because it gives me noise reducing

¿anyone knows anything how can I export correctly a exr sequence or file?

Hi!

Please do some research about Color Management in Maya and Color Spaces in general.

You can simply try to add a gamma of 2.2 in Davinci Resolve (or change color space from linear to sRGB somewhere in the settings).

In case someone wants a faster solution:

after importing your media, placing it on your timeline yadayadayada.. select the clip you want color corrected, click on the bottom on the COLOR tab, on the timeline in that window, right-click on your clip you want corrected, hover over the LUT option, hover over the VFX IO option (last option in the list), click on LINEAR TO SRGB (or whatever applies to your situation).

Hope this helps someone somewhere sometime :3
