Arnold Won't Render Image Plane

Anonymous
Not applicable

I'm currently having trouble rendering in Arnold with this model of a football stadium I've been working on.

I've imported image plane files such as the dragon logo, numbers, and the text in the endzones as part of the background.  Their attributes are set to display in all views.

However, when I go to render the model in Arnold, they're not visible.  I've tried following several tutorial videos online such as using the tactic of going to the environment attribute in the camera settings and overriding the image by uploading the same file through there, but it still won't appear.  I also tried another method but it made the image take up the entire space without letting me edit it back into the background with the rest of the model.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Pre-Render:                                                                           In Arnold Renderview:

You'll get one image plane, not many.

And if you have a skydome light, set its Camera visibility to 0

Thanks for replying!  However, I just have directional lights coming from the stadium lights, no skydome lights, do you suppose I should create one in order to make the image planes visible instead of just some or none at all?

Hi!

For elements integrated into the scene scene i don't recommend to use image planes, please use primitives like a polyPlane or nurbsPlane and add the image as texture.
