Arnold stops rendering when halfway done

Hi, I'm trying to render a interior scene but Arnold just stops when it's about halfway done with the last pass.

I tried the following:

Optimize scene size.

Making instances of most objects that were duplicates.

Here is the Arnold log:

pastebin.com/ifJUUs9G

I'm especially worried with the last lines:

  1. 00:47:53  4251MB         | performance warnings:
  2. 00:47:53  4251MB WARNING |  You are tracing 3380 rays per pixel. You may want to double check and reduce your sampling settings.
  3. 00:47:53  4251MB         | -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  4. 02:00:23  4256MB         |
  5. 02:00:23  4256MB         | releasing resources
  6. 02:00:23  2218MB         | Arnold shutdown

These are my render settings and the final render which is halfway done.

OwNLZJe

Fu25ZRl

I can't really go lower with the sampling because of noise issues. Also my lights (3 area and 1 physical sky) have 6 samples.

My system specs:

intel i7 6700 3.40GHz

16 gb memory

AMD RX480 8gb video memory

Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong

physical sky is a shader, not a light. What's it connected to?

are you using light portals?

the render stops because there are texture errors

00:47:53 4334MB ERROR | [texturesys] Read error at row 64, col 64; got 0 bytes, expected 21099 (filename = "Q:/Projecten/Interior2/sourceimages/ietsjedonkererdehoud/Houterer_Normal.tx")
00:47:53 4334MB ERROR | [texturesys] Read error at row 64, col 64; got 0 bytes, expected 20913 (filename = "Q:/Projecten/Interior2/sourceimages/ietsjedonkererdehoud/Houterer_Diffuse.tx")

Those Read errors are usually  because of some transient problem, like a network outage/failure.

Thanks for the reply, the physical sky is connect to a sky dome. I use 3 light portals in the windows and the physical sky is my main source of light.

The scene is rendering from a network drive so that could be the problem. I'll try moving it local.

It was a network failure. I archived the scene and moved it to my local machine. I then fixed the texture paths with the file path editor and it works now, Thanks.
