Hello,
I'm on maya 2022.4, and if I activate the script editor > command > show tooltip help, I don't get the expected behavior
This is what I would expect (maya 2020)
But in maya 2022, for every single command, I get the same "help"
Of course the result in maya 2022 is completely useless.
Is there a patch or something I can try to make it behave like it should?
Thank you!

Didn't mean to be harsh, I should have added a smile 😅

Ok now I'm curious since this is a dead end.. what is your solution?
1) You left maya long ago and moved to something else (houdini, blender..)
2) You rely on Charcoal Editor/other plugin for scripting in maya
3) You don't need autocomplete
4) You prefer to write dir() for inspecting objects
5) You exclusively use an external editor that works great (PyCharm, VS Code, ? )

Is this a question for me? Are those my only options? If so, my pick goes to (5). I use the Script Editor the way I use an interactive Python interpreter via the command-line, to run and inspect code authored in an external editor.

It's more a generic question, but I guess since you're the only one answered I should've specified 🙂
I'm on point 5 as well, but always found handy to have a minimal help from the script editor..
If you, or really anyone, maybe someone working at AD, have other options or solutions please let me knoow!
