instanced spheres have the same shape node

I have 5 instanced spheres in a row, but I noticed that 4 of them share the same shape node. I need each of these spheres to have separate named shape nodes when I open the attributes tab.

( I am coding so that each sphere has specific attributes I can adjust, but because the shape node is the same name for 4 of them, then changing one changes the other 3. )

Is there any way I can do this?

Hi!

I'm afraid this isn't possible, because it isn't just that the shape nodes have the same name, it is the same node that is displayed as a shape for all of them but actually is just linked to the instances, while being the shape of the original. I'm quite surprised that you somehow managed to have one shape node that is named differently, since the original and all of it's instances should have the same shape node.

Can you tell me a bit more about what attributes you are trying to change and why?

Have a nice day!
