I have an existing 3DS Maxscript that I created that I would like to have re-written for use in Maya.
It involves selecting and logging individual vertex positions on a frame by frame basis of an alembic mesh, exporting them to a text file, and eventually creating a 'helper' object from the selected frame by frame sequence.
I'm looking to outsource this work. How does one go about that?

I would however recommend to convert your script to python instead of MEL, unless you plan to use it with Maya LT. Since Python is just better at handling big data sets, which it seems you are looking to do.
