Maya UI much too large

When I open Maya the UI is extremely large, screenshots included.

Did you ever find a fix?  This just happened to me!

Check the interface scaling in the windows|settings prefrences|preferences|interface tab

be sure to select Interface, and not the UI Elements or Help sub menus.
