Maya IGS transfer description command.

I'm trying to build a batch script to do description transfer for grooming baking. I have not been able to find any documentation behind the "Transfer" button of the Interactive Groom system, and pressing the button triggers a series of commands that are not directly related to any other one, at least, that the script editor is reporting. 

How can I summon that command using only the script editor?

Same request, why isn't this readily available in the Maya documentation?

It won't and never will. You can find the python command in the Xgen files and can trigger it yourself, but the entire script has Disney copyright written all over it so I won't even risk it sharing it here, but you can find it.
