Unfold3D tells me to clean up non manifold geometry

Hello

I'm trying to UV a model of a Jet and Unfold3D keeps telling me I have non-manifold geometry (I don't, I already checked with the cleanup option) and legacy works fine. how can I make it work?

you could try to do a uv projection for the whole object first... sometimes there are nonmanifold uvs...

Hi,

What result do you get when you select your model and run the following Maya command? (to check for non-manifold 3D/UV geometry)

polyInfo -nmv -nme -nuv -nue

Thanks.

Hello, I've been having this issue as well, typing the code in the console returned me the following message:

// Result: polySurface50.e[192] polySurface50.e[955] polySurface50.e[1606] polySurface50.vtx[7] polySurface50.vtx[543] polySurface50.vtx[855:856] polySurface50.e[192] polySurface50.e[955] polySurface50.e[1606] //

How can I fix this issue? Thanks.

Hi,

You need to use Mesh > Cleanup to fix the non-manifold geometry.

See this link for more details:

Cheers!
