What are good practices for creating corners

Hi, 

Is there a guide or a tutorial somewhere that explains how to best place edges to create good corners. I am trying to make a hole in a surface that is square in shape and I'm having problems making the corners look good. I always get some wrinkles around the corners.

First you gotta keep all quads, you have a lot of dirty geometry happening there, then you need to make your edge flow right for the topology...look at polycount .com there's tons of modeling tips there for subdvision as well as MODO website...i suggested a few lines over your jpg.
