Need help recovering a MA scene

Hi all, I've been working with this scene for several days and have Maya auto save my project constantly. I didn't realize but Maya was auto saving a corrupted scene as well as my original save. I've seemingly lost 14 hrs of work. all my materials are gone and the models all have this green shader on them and several items in my scene seem to be missing. (invisible?)

I opened the MA file in notepad++ all the stuff seems to be there (a lot of lines code) and the file size is what it is suppose to be, 94mb, as when I save the corrupted file from this point on it reduces it to 37mb.

I've been looking around the forums here and different sites and found that corrupted files can be recovered as long as they have been saved in MA and not MB. I was hoping someone with more knowledge with it can help recover my lost data, if possible anyway.

It would be much appreciated and much thanks in advanced.

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

Thank you so much, you saved me so much grief. If you don't mind me asking what exactly went wrong? for future reference.

Hi!

There have been some invalid values, but i can't say what caused this.

Amazing how some invalid values can do all this. Would be amazing if someone made a tool to automate repair/error finder. would save so many tears. Anyways, thank you. I can't express this enough.

Hi!

An automatic correction would be absolute no problem.

I wonder why Autodesk does not implement this like

a) Popup when opening a scene.

Invalid values detected, should Maya try to repair them?

or

b) A setting in Preferences.

Maya should try to repair invalid values when loading a Maya scene (check or uncheck)

It would seem easy to implement. Based on what I've seen its been a long running issue (years). I guess its up to the community to make a plugin/tool, if possible anyway....
