Modeling tool kit wont open

My modeling tool kit button refuses to work in all projects i need to use the quad draw tool but i cant since the modeling toolkit wont open even when i hover over the button no description comes up. I cannnot model wasily without it thanks!

Hi vanillasalmon,

Which version of maya are you using? In 2014 the modeling toolkit is not available.. you can find it in the menu but it's not working. You need to download Maya 2015 to use it.

like the toolkit button and the quad draw tool are there but they are grayed out not letting me select them

@ekiem: sorry but thats wrong!

for both versions it´s most likely that for whatever reason the plugin was disabled. so just open your plugin manager and  load the mtk from there.

U would see a power button at the top of the modeling toolkit switch it on by clicking on it and u can use it
