Model mashed

Hey all, first time posting.

I am not really that good at Maya and it's been a while since I used Maya and I tried to load a project I created a long time ago with the 2013 version of Maya. 

This is what happens when I load it on Maya 2018.

The chest plate/Armour seems to have gone somewhere.

Hi,

Looks like it could be a problem with the modeling history.

Try opening the model in an earlier version of Maya (preferably the one that you used to create it) and then delete the modeling history before loading it into Maya 2018. (Edit > Delete by Type > Non-deformer History)
