Maya crashes when I'm trying to combine two objects

Hi everyone!

I'm using Maya 2018 and I'm facing this kind of error for the first time. So basically everytime I wanna combine the two objects I want, Maya crashes with the error message: ''Fatal Error. Attempting to save in C:/Users/elzrbis/AppData/Local/Temp/elzrbis.20190205.ma''. Only that certain project, only those certain objects. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

the problem was solved as of yesterday! the fix was really simple: i was careless and left one of the objects in subdivision mode! thank you for your generosity anyways, have a nice day 🙂
