I couldn't recreate the error. I'm assuming you're on a different Version of Maya than I am, and sometimes opening up the file in a different version can solve problems like this automatically.
So the good news is, I was able to open your file and export the geometry in it into an OBJ format, so you should be able to load the geometry into your version of Maya again without any problems.
There seem to be a few problems with the position of some objects and some of the objects seem to have lost their shaders, but from the looks of it the topology is there.
I can only speculate as to what the problem was, since I couldn't recreate it, often when opening the file in a different version of maya solves the problem, it means that something in the startup information of the file didn't get saved right, which can occur when maya crashes while saving.
