Lattice tool has default division of 5 on the 'T' axis

Hello! Is there any way to adjust the default settings for the lattice tool so that it doesn't randomly have 5 divisions on one axis each time you make a new lattice? It's driving me bonkers having to change it every time. 

Any help appreciated.

Go to Deform tab>Lattice and change the default 5 to 2 and save preferences.Next time you use it will create with 2.

Most tools work this way, once you save the right settings.
