As said before, i would recommend to start with curves.

However i don't have the time to fully assist you with this.

Please read the Maya Online Help / Documentation for more details about any tool you want to use and search for some tutorials.

Hi, these lines are for a vehicle trail / guidelines can be seen on the road map. The audience can see this dashed lines when the vehicle is moving forwards. I have to make few lines for different scenes. So the lines should be editable.
