I'm trying to create a Universal material to use on multiple objects. Some objects require patterns whereas others don't, I'm trying to figure out how to disable or hide TX_Swirl_Pattern on the layered shader material I created. I've tried unselecting TX_Swirl_Pattern but it won't unhighlight.

Hi!

You can't disable a texture input in the Relationship Editor ( for this you would need the Node Editor.)

You can only assign the texture to an other UV Set, so select an other UV Set in the left column and then select at the right column the texture you want to add.

(Deselecting a texture on the right works only when not working in the default UV Set, cause then the texture will be reassigned to the default UV Set.)
