Displacement to Polygons with history does not work with Parallel evaluation

Since the Bug Report page is not displaying correctly, I thought I'd document this problem here. I created a polyCylinder. Duplicated it and scaled it a bit bigger than the original. Smoothed the bigger cylinder and sculpted it to create my displacement map for the original cylinder. I used Transfer Maps to create the displacement map and shader assignment. Then I used Convert Displacement to Polygons with History. When I animate any aspect of the displacement map, nothing updates. Then I noticed my evaluation mode is set to Parallel. As soon as I set this back to DG, I get what I was expecting. This is in Maya2020.2.
