Sounds like it could be an issue with your graphics card driver.
Try going into the Windows > Settings/Preferences > Preferences > Display > Rendering Engine and setting that to DirectX 11 and then restarting Maya to see if that solves the issue.
If that doesn't work you may need to update your graphics card driver to a stable/certified version that is recommended for Maya.
