Hi everyone !

 

I modeled a pedal.

Here is the geometry of the end.

I added soft edges.

I export it to Unreal Engine 4 (Smoothing Groups & Smooth Mesh are checked within the fbx exporter).

The result in UE4 seems not to be perfectly smoothed.

I don't see the reason.

Maybe you may have an idea ...

Hi!

This looks like a result of bad topology.

Try a more even distribution of faces and if possible use quads only.
