Rendering and UV mapping issues

I am posting a couple screen shots to illustrate what my problem is.  The objects are Ploygon Cubes with a UV map attached.  Can anyone tell me why it is doing this?  I watched several tutorials on UV maps and believe I did it correctly.

It seems like here is some kind of transparency going on but I can't find it.

Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

It's possible you have Backface Culling on which can be disable by going to Display->Polygons->Backface Culling.

If that doesn't work, you might have accidentally enabled transparency for your material. To fix this, right click the model and select Material Attributes then look for the Transparency slider and make sure there's no texture assigned to it.

Please let me know if this helps or if you need any more assistance!
