Maya LT won't export models with multiple UVs applied in Maya LT?

Hi, I have a a problem were I unwrap my mesh into 3 separate UVS in Maya LT and export into Substance Painter like I normally would with multiple UV maps however only 1 UV map shows up in painter? Does anyone know what might be going on? The same thing happens when I import the model into Marmoset Toolbar and Unreal Engine so it can't be painter.

Operating system: Windows 10

Version: Maya LT 2018

Steps to reproduce problem:

1. Create mesh inside of Maya LT without exporting

2. UV unwrap the model in the UV editor with 3 different UV maps

3. Export model as OBJ with no "File type specific options" enabled

4. Import into Substance painter, Toolbag, or UE4

hi,

I'm not sure what's "different UV maps", I guess it's UV sets.

You can't export UV sets using OBJ format.  There is only one UV in this format.

You can export UV sets using FBX format. But I'm not sure if Substance painter support this format.

Hi, thank you for the reply. Yes I mean UV sets sorry and painter does support fbx however  when I export using fbx only 1 of the 3 UV sets are with the mesh regardless of program. Is there some setting I need to enable? I tested my mesh in UE4, Marmoset Toolbag, and Painter to see if the fbx had my 3 UV sets it was not there. Furthermore obj does support multiple UVs as I can export multiple UV sets out of 3D Coat and into Painter or other programs.

I'm not sure why you can export OBJ file with UV sets. I couldn't do it in Maya LT. I guess it's format version issue.  And you can open OBJ or ASKII FBX file in text editing tool.

I can export FBX file with multiple UV sets. I showed it in my first replay. But I'm not sure if other software support this format. I tested Substance Painter. But I couldn't find how to use multiple UV sets in it. And I couldn't find it in Youtube or online help.  I found how to use "Create a texture set per UDIM tile", but couldn't find how to switch UV sets.
