"A way of selecting polys or any other object or particle procedurally. for example like Max volume select or Houdini's select by expression or by volume or like MASH falloff but for polys and particles"

This is super important. This feature would become the main way to define procedural group components for procedural operations to act on.

For example bevel, or extrude these selected group components. A button would be available to initialize an upstream component selection to act on.
