Linux support

More and more people will stop using windows in the future, so you should improve maya linux support.

Now maya is available only for red hat. You could support some more distros like debian and arch.

There is CENTOS for Flame

Is this good OS to use maya with at the moment ?
In near future I would really like to see equivalent for maya, and  better yet, arch and SUSE versions... 😉
Main reason is security, but I think those versions of linux are quite good at it 😉

Thanks.

Compared to other Autodesk packages, Maya is relatively easy  to get working on Debian-like distos.  Watch the output logs closely, and use the ldd command to find and resolve any major dependencies. I tested Maya 2017 on Debian 7/8, Ubuntu 14.04, 16.04, and 18.04.  Best of luck!
